The adorable Miss {L} was recently dedicated to the Lord in this beautiful white gown! So sweet is this child of God, and how precious is her smile!  I am completely honored to be able to capture such a special occasion for her family. “Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.” ~ John 1:12

Sweet sisters {H} and {T} were such a pleasure to capture. Their beautiful eyes and curls make my job so easy! And as if they just couldn’t get any more adorable, they have the sweetest hearts too! (As evidenced by the BIG hugs I got before they left! <3 ) Beautiful, inside and out.

This kid is: Imaginative Funny Speedy Loyal Tender-Hearted SEVEN And unfortunately, I have to admit, he has always gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to his photographer mama. You see, his birthday has fallen during “Auction Season” the last three years. So last year’s pictures sit in a folder (archived on an external hard drive) completely unedited. The year before? Mister {C} was in last week for a picture update as he recently celebrated his FIFTH birthday! He did a great job smiling and being silly with me. Doesn’t he look handsome?

I had the pleasure of meeting Miss {C} and her little brother Mister {B} last week for a spring mini-session. Don’t they both have the most beautiful eyes? These parents are going to have a couple of heart-breakers on their hands in a couple of years!

The sweet {B} kiddos stopped by the studio for some updated spring pictures. Aren’t they adorable? Twins {R} and {E} liked to ham it up a little bit, while big sister {H} is as poised and beautiful as can be! Such a beautiful family they have! Thank you for the opportunity to capture it!

Miss {G} stopped by the studio yesterday for a quick mini-session to capture some spring pictures. She is always adorable, but I think it is safe to say that she will definitely be BEAUTIFUL this Easter! <3

Learning to be flexible…. for you never know when it may snow in North Carolina! 🙂 The plan for this shoot was to be outdoors, in a cute little spring outfit. Well, Mother Nature had other plans I guess! I can ask Miss {A} to tough out the cold, but it is pretty tough to fake spring when there are flakes falling from the sky. Big. Fluffy. Snowflakes! So we enjoyed catching snowflakes on our tongues, and then took the shoot indoors…. to a different selection of outfits and backgrounds. We’ll have to make up the spring shoot another day. […]

It is so hard to believe that I took this sweet girl’s newborn pictures over a year ago! Such a crazy year it has been! Such an honor that her family was willing to wait a few extra weeks for me to capture her one year portraits….
