Such an absolute pleasure to photograph the {S} family! We found the perfect time when everyone was home on Christmas break, and were able to keep it low key by simply heading outside to their backyard. And you know the session went well, (And that you’ve got awesome clients!) when you are invited in for a drink afterward! 😉 Love this family!

Such a pleasure to meet Mr. {H}. He’s at that super-fun age where he loves to sit, smile, and explore…. and only crawls away every once in awhile. 😉 He loved the first set-up of playing the role of aviator! (And then he remembered that he’s also at the age of separation anxiety… but we can work with that and still managed to get some good shots.) Love his silly smile and his spunk! My sweet niece turned ONE back in November, and I was fortunate to travel to see her that same week, so OF COURSE we had to take pictures! 🙂 Miss {H} is the sweetest little girl and has brought such joy to so many in our family. I love how active she is (no interest in standing still for pictures… ha!) and how determined she can be to get something she wants. Love you sweet girl!  

Such a pleasure to spend a morning with baby {J}, his big sister {C} and his mom, dad, and auntie! And let me tell you, he is the luckiest little guy, because he has one of the best big sisters I know! Miss {C} did an AWESOME job of letting me be particular with posing her for their sibling shots. I’m sure with these two sweet peas around, there was lots of JOY this Christmas. (And hopefully maybe a silent night, too! 😉  )

I just love watching Miss {A} grow! She was in before Christmas for her sitting milestone session, and she is seriously one of the happiest babies I know! I also had the opportunity to capture {A} and her big brother {Z} together too… LOVE how he uses his baby sister as a racetrack! 😉 They are both so sweet!

Oh Miss {M}! This girl is a photographer’s dream, as she LOVES to have her picture taken!  The indoor component of this shoot was at her request, because she wanted studio shots taken. 🙂 She made a great model for my Christmas mini-session set-ups and then picked out a few favorite outfits on her own too. Cracks me up how much she loves that dance dress-up costume! Sweet, sweet girl…. we are so blessed to have you in our lives!

Such a pleasure to photograph the sweet sweet {A} family! We were blessed with a beautiful setting and perfect weather for their fall sunset session. (At least until we got kicked out of the park!) Miss {M} loved her chance to model and show off her earrings and Mr. {A} kept us laughing with his best Castle impression. 🙂 Beautiful family, inside and out. Blessed to call them friends.

I LOVE the authenticity of photographing little boys! I’ve had the privilege of capturing little brother {Z} a couple of times, but this was my first opportunity to get my lens on big brother {A}. He brought such a fun mix of spontaneity to the shoot… just love how I was able to capture some of the family interaction that he instigated. 🙂 Already looking forward to seeing this family soon for their next milestone session!

THIS folks, it what it’s really all about. Capturing moments, memories, and milestones. And they aren’t always the milestones of little ones. Mr. {P} has suffered from chronic back pain for years. Despite several surgeries and a variety of treatments, the answer seemed to be “don’t lift anything weighing more than five pounds”. As a father of young kids, that was quite restricting! So it was super-duper exciting this summer that we were able to capture these images. So excited that the Christmas cards have gone out and I can finally share these images! It’s been awhile since you’ve seen the {P} family on the kg blog! Their sessions always provide a fun opportunity to collaborate with Mrs. {P} in planning and executing new ideas. And this session, we managed to fit into record time! 🙂 It has been such an honor to capture this family over the years…. Love you guys!
