Truly one of the first families I photographed…. so many years ago, before {W} was even born! I can reminisce about all the fun sessions we have had in the past… out in the woods, maternity, newborn, the horse farm, the lifestyle at home, just to name a few! So much fun to meet the entire {D} family and capture their first family picture in years! Love the bright colors they wore to the shoot. And little man {R}? He sure has his work cut out for him with three BEAUTIFUL older sisters to help protect!

LOVE capturing the expressions of little boys! Just so much fun! And while Mister {D} has always had some fun expressions, his personality has really developed in the past year! There are so many more fun personality shots in his full gallery not pictured here, but I didn’t want his mom to think I only capture goofy shots!  😉  And his big sister {A}…. isn’t she beautiful? So so pretty, and so patient with her little brother too!  

I was so excited to see Mr. {C} again, and even better – I got to capture the whole family! 🙂 I had warned Mrs. {Z} that she might want to come prepared for me to snap at least one or two mother-son pics. Well, she surprised me by having the whole family ready to go! Don’t you just love their outfits and accessories?! I love how she pulled it all together! And I am so happy she will have a few images to document this pregnancy too!

The {C} Family is one of the sweetest and most God honoring families you will ever meet. I was thrilled to be able to get my lens on them again and document how much each of the boys has grown over the last fifteen months. Each of the boys has their own little charm…. But the youngest, Mister {Z}, sure stole my heart with his grins and smirks!

It seems only fitting that the family who had to wait the longest for their session to be edited last summer, should be first this summer. The {D} family felt called to adopt late in 2012, so they have spent plenty of time waiting lately. I’m glad that their images are one less thing for them to wait on. 🙂 It was such an honor to capture this life stage for them. It is so hard to believe that I took this sweet girl’s newborn pictures over a year ago! Such a crazy year it has been!
