Grateful for another fun session with the {S} family! They sure are troopers…. racing from a championship baseball game just in time to be the last shoot of the night! So glad it worked out! 🙂 p.s. After all these years, I think I learned where the boys get their goofiness from…. Mr. {S}, you’ve been busted on camera!

Such a pleasure to meet Miss {A} and her little brother Mister {N}! They did an awesome job for their photo shoot. Miss {A} must be one of the most poised little seven-year olds I know…. and I just loved the faces and expressions that came from Mister {N}! 

So many special life milestones have been shared with this family…. our wedding, baby showers, being in the hospital together while delivering our little ones… <3 It has been so much fun to watch these kids grow through the years. We look forward to another fall of logging on to the Press Gazette online each Saturday morning to read of {A}’s accomplishments from the night before! 🙂 (Although I admit I sometimes still like to think of him as four, instead of almost 17! Two year old boys are SO. MUCH. FUN! I just love their energy and spunk. AND their funny faces! And funny faces Mister {L} did have! He wasn’t feeling well when we did his family session a bit ago, so today we spent just a few minutes together as a bit of a re-shoot. We wanted to be sure to capture a few nice solo images of him to coordinate with that session….. Mission accomplished!  

Sweet little Miss {A} was just a perfect baby doll for her session! We didn’t even hear a peep out of her until the end. This allowed us to get through many extra set-ups…. there are more not even pictured here!  I had so much fun dressing her up, and I think her mama is going to enjoy adding some girlie things to the kids’ wardrobe too! What a pleasure it was to capture the {H} family just before a perfect Carolina spring sunset! They had requested more of a life-style session. What does that mean exactly? It means that I still scout the location for the best lighting, and make basic suggestions for where and how to sit. But beyond that, I let the family BE a family for the duration of our session.
